Honda officially launched their first authorized dealer in Dhaka city under the franchise of Wings BD Ltd at Kawran Bazar, at the launching ceremony Bangladesh Honda Private Ltd officially announced that they will launch 3 new models very soon in Bangladesh. Two of them are commuting bikes Honda Wave Alpha & Honda Livo and one of them will be a naked sports bike Honda CB150R Streetfire. Lets see the details of “Honda CB150R in Bangladesh”.

In the opening ceremony of Wings BD Ltd
MD & CEO of Bangladesh Honda Pvt Ltd Mr. Yoichi Mizutani stated
that they will launch CB150R in Bangladesh in February-March of 2016, a
bike which he stated that he rode and he loved it a lot, so when a
company BOSS like a bike you know it must be that GOOD.

Honda CB150R was launched in Indonesia a while back in August, in short CB150R is a naked version of Honda CBR150R
but as the bike is manufactured in Indonesia you expect it to be much
more refined then the one that are build in India. BHL confirmed that
they will import the bikes from Indonesia as CBU and later in the future
they will manufacture the bikes on our home soil.

Over the years we have seen that Honda lacked STYLE in their bikes, reason why CB Unicorn and Honda CB Trigger
never a choice for the young generations despite the later been awarded
the best 150cc bike in Bangladesh last year. The looks of the bike is
very aggressive & muscular, the bike has a high positioned
handlebars and LED side blinking units. The bike have a split headlight
where a silver strip separates the two parts, the best part is that they
have given the bike edgy design and a sporty looks.

The rear of the bike gets LED indicators
and tail lights; there is a grab rail for the pillion. The speedometer
is digital & probably one of the best Honda ever designed, it has
LED speedometer with odometer and fuel gauge. The bike has telescopic
forks and single swing arm suspension which should help in to fight the
bumps and all on the road of Dhaka. The ignition key of the bike is on
the fuel tank which is something rare in Honda bikes but this time they
did it with some design.

The chassis of the bike is diamond frame
and it shares the same 150cc water cooled engine that you get in
CBR150R but only this time they detuned the power, so instead of
delivering 18.3 BHP it pumps out 16.7 BHP of power, nearly the same as Yamaha R15V2.0
& 14 NM of Torque but glad that it has a 6 speed gearbox to
transfer the power to its rear wheels. The brakes are from Nissin one of
the branded brake manufacturing company in the world. They gave duel
piston brake in the front and single piston to the rear of the bike.
